Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre is a long closed movie theatre located at 10233 Jasper Ave in Edmonton, Alberta. You can walk by and take a peek at its interesting facade, and the drug addicts pass out in front. Visited July 26, 2026.

Ukies Yummy

Ukrainian restaurant located in the basement at 10359 104 Street NW, in Edmonton, Alberta. All you can eat buffet. Salads, sauces, cabbage rolls, sausages, chicken, pork, bacon, deserts, etc. Lots of options, authentic and delicious. Staff don’t speak the best English, but are very friendly and helpful. Visited July 26, 2026. Recommended.

Lacombe Centre Mall

Small shopping mall at 5250 45 Street in Lacombe, Alberta. Not a busy mall, but no vacant stores. A mixture of 1980s and 2000s shopping mall styles. Visited July 19, 2026.

Stettler Mall

The Stettler Mall is located at 6600 50 Ave in Stettler Alberta. A mall so obscure it has basically no online presence. One anchor still open as a liquidation centre. The Record Cavern

Located at 5121 50th Avenue, in Red Deer Alberta. Small and dark. Much darker than the photos indicate. An interesting collection of used vinyl, leaning toward things you would have heard on Canadian radio in the 1980s and 1990s. Some oddities too.
